James
5:1-8
1 Come now,
rich ones, weep,
howling over your hardships coming on. 2 Your riches have rotted, and
your garments have become moth-eaten. 3 Your gold and silver have
rusted over, and their poison will be a testimony to you, and will eat
your flesh as fire. You heaped treasure in the last days. 4 Behold, the
wages of the workmen who have reaped your fields cry out, being kept
back by you. And the cries of the ones who have reaped have entered
"into the ears of the Lord of Hosts." Isa. 5:9 5 You lived luxuriously
on the earth, and lived in self gratification; you nourished your
hearts as in a day of slaughter; 6 you condemned; you murdered the
righteous; he does not resist you. 7 Therefore, brothers, be
long-suffering until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits
for the precious fruit of the earth, being long-suffering over it until
it may receive the early and the latter rain. 8 You also be
long-suffering. Set your hearts firmly, because the coming of the Lord
has drawn near.

How
to Help
- Adopt
a YWAMmer
- Volunteer
Time and Skills -
we really need a Web designer
- Give
Stuff (or $$) Stuff can
be sold on E-bay and you get a tax reciept for value
- Pray
- "The effective,
fervent prayer of the righteous is very powerful" Don't under estimate
how powerful your prayers are.
Each
YWAMer is required to raise his/her own support. Friends, savings,
churches and depending on the location and the nation hosting the
ministry, part-time jobs. Personally, with a volunteer visa from a
nation other than Canada, I can not legally earn money regardless of
how much work I do. It is sometimes frustrating, but the Lord is
faithful, and in His timing, the needs are met. My wife and I would
appreciate your prayers.
Colosians 3:23-24
And
whatever you may
do, work from the soul as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you
shall receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord
Christ. |
